Hi! My name is Rik Palieri (pronounced Pal-air-re). I sing and perform both original and traditional songs on a variety of folk instruments, including the banjo, 6 & 12 string guitars, mouth bow, Native American flute and a collection of rare Polish bagpipes.

Rik's New Radio Program

Rik is the co-host along with Ben Bergstien in a new community radio program called "Fellow Travelers" and airs on Wednesdays at 4-5 on WOMM-LP 105.9FM The Radiator. At the moment it is a community radio station just in this area, but soon after the new year we will be streaming on the inter-net. Our show is a mix of Americana, Country & Western, Hillbilly, Blues, Folk & World music. Please listen in!

"Like a journeyman carpenter who has built hundreds of homes, folksinger Rik Palieri has carefully honed his craft and his presentation by performing thousands of shows. Back in 1985, Palieri made playing in 1,000 schools around the U.S. his goal. He accomplished that goal three-and-a-half years later. Since then, he's performed at the Philadelphia Folk Festival, the Vancouver Folk Festival in Canada, Boston's Bread and Roses Festival and many other large music gatherings around the U.S. and Europe."
